Important Note

AI does not decide the winner.

AI assists with organizing evidence and the candidate field. Human editors remain responsible for eligibility, category fit, source review, and omissions. AI does not select a winner.

The site does not publish AI scores, placeholder rankings, or live vote totals. Fans choose from the reviewed shortlists, and results follow only after verification and integrity review.

Shortlist Review

How the shortlist is built.

AI-assisted research organizes official evidence, performance context, and candidate comparisons across club and international football. Human review checks eligibility, category fit, sourcing, regional context, and meaningful omissions.

Shortlist inclusion is an editorial decision for this independent award and is not official recognition from any competition or governing body.

Ballot and Review

No live rankings. No automatic winner.

The men’s and women’s tracks use the same categories and verification rules. Duplicate, automated, manipulated, or otherwise ineligible activity may be excluded during result review.

World Football Award will not publish live rankings for the opening verdict. Final outcomes and participation totals will be published only after the vote record has been reviewed.
